Shopian, April 17 (KNO): Another militant has been killed in an encounter between government forces and militants in Dairoo, Keegam area of Shopian district in southern Kashmir taking the toll of killed militants to two. Official sources told news agency—Kashmir news News Observer (KNO), that on specific inputs about the presence of militants joint team of forces including 44 RR launched search operation in the area. "As the joint team of forces intensified search operation towards the suspected spot, hiding militants fired upon forced which was retaliated triggering an encounter," They said. "During exchange of fire, two militants have been killed, both are believed to be locals belonging to HM outfit," they added. Meanwhile forces have launched another cordon in near by village Mughal Pora. Official sources told KNO that another cordon and search operation has been launched in Mughal Pora area by joint team of forces which is about 1 KM from Dairoo encounter site—(KNO)
